At Great Harwood Primary School, the Geography curriculum provides children with the skills which will enable them to navigate their way through life, providing answers to children’s questions about the world around them. All children begin with studying the world in term 1; refining and building on essential geographical skills and knowledge. These projects prepare children for the study of more thematic geography projects in the following term. The Geography curriculum progresses to enable children to develop knowledge, beginning with their locality and including the natural and human curiosities of the world.
