STAR Time
Each day, we stop to Sit Together And Read. This is our STAR time. In Year 1, we enjoy a range of picture books. Here are some we have enjoyed so far:
Please encourage your child to read regularly at home (at least three times a week). Each time that they read at home and have their reading record signed, they will receive a point which they can collect to spend in our reading shop.
Please ensure your child's reading book is in school each day. This allows us to read frequently with the children and change their books more regularly.
Useful Information
PE - Our PE lesson is on Thursday. Children should come to school ready in their full PE kit. Please make sure earrings are removed or covered with plasters.
Homework - this will begin to be set later in the year and more information will come via Class Dojo beforehand.
